Having not worked out for more than a week, I am now suffering from the over exertion during this morning football game. I could not even last more than 15 minutes before I opt to get myself substituted. I came back only in the 2nd half and that didn’t lasted long too.
That’s the thing about fitness. It goes away go quickly but takes so bloody long to get back into shape. I already have to sacrifice two pair of pants and I really looked damn uncle when I am in office wear. How ah? Change of wardrobe? Sign up a gym membership? Wear some new urban male stuff and get a tan?
Clothes are easy to get, just if you are willing to fork out $100+ for that stylish slim-cut Raoul top. But motivation to exercise is lower than zero. My gym partner is on shift work and my running buddy prefers a round of beer versus a round at the stadium.
I still have a thousand more excuses and reasons not to exercise and I can’t think of one of why I should.
Maybe when my beer belly effective take over the role of my sofa cushion as the table for my laptop, my reason to exercise would be very clear.
